Women's Health Ambassador Gender Health Gap

British women have a longer life expectancy than men but spend more of their lives in disability, due to under-researched conditions that impact women and mental illness from being expected to work as if they don't have children and raise families as if they don't work full-time professional jobs. The campaign led to a new role being created for a Women's Health Ambassador to the British Government (Dame Lesley Regan)
