Tree farms in South Sudan

Climate change disproportionately impacts women and girls when resources are already scarce. In addition to being more likely to live in poverty, having limited access to education and being resposible for food, clean drinking water and chores, women and girl are more exposed to higher rates of sexual violence during displacement and conflict arising from disruption. This campaign empowers women to combat climate change by harvesting tree farms, learning about agronomy and water conservation. The social media posts raise awareness of the project.
