Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern endured unprecedented hate and death threats

This campaign shows the combination of misinformation and misogyny, amplified by social media, that created violent threats against the female Prime Minister. At the beginning of her career, Ardern was spoken about in terms of her looks, youth and dress sense and despite guiding New Zealand through a pandemic, terrorist attack and multiple natural disasters, with empathy and emotionally intelligent strength, the threats toward her become increasing violent and personal. This campaign aims to tackle misinformation and misogyny faced by female leaders.
