Nadia is an Iraqi Yazidi human rights activist. In 2014, she was kidnapped from her hometown Kocho and held by the Islamic State for three months. Since then, she has campaigned to help women and children victims of genocide and human traficking, to help heal and rebuild lives and communities. Her initiative campaigns to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict.
